General

Job Duties For All Store Team Members
  • Operate all equipment.
  • Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.
  • Prepare product.
  • Receive and process telephone orders.
  • Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
  • Clean equipment and facility on a daily basis.
Training

Orientation and on-the-job training are provided.

Communication Skills
  • Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders in person or over the phone.
Essential Functions/Skills
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (calculator may be used).
  • Must be able to make correct monetary change.
  • Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders; eye-hand coordination for rapid, precise movements.
  • Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
  • Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the delivery area.
  • Navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings and other delivery sites while carrying product.
Work Conditions
  • Exposure to varying weather conditions when performing outside tasks.
  • Store temperatures range from 36 degrees (cooler) to 90 degrees (hot areas) or higher.
  • Possible exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, and other kitchen environments.
  • Cramped quarters including walk-in cooler; hot surfaces up to 500 degrees or higher; sharp edges and moving parts.
  • Delivery-related conditions, including driving in varying weather and traffic.
Sensing
  • Talking and hearing on telephone; near and mid-range vision for in-store tasks.
  • Depth perception and color/contrast awareness as needed.
Temperaments

The role requires directing activities, performing repetitive tasks, working alone or with others, handling stress, meeting quality standards, dealing with people, analyzing data, and making decisions.

Qualifications
  • Physical requirements:

    standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, reaching, driving.
  • Examples include lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying loads, walking distances between store and delivery locations, and navigating stairs or ladders as needed.
  • Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record and access to a insured vehicle for delivery.
Facilities/Equipment

Team members may use pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, and pizza-related tools.
