- Foot or vehicle patrols - detect suspicious behavior and prevent vandalism, theft, or other criminal activity.
- Gatehouse – greet truck drivers and guests, check identification, log visitor vehicles, and control access to the property.
- Front Desk – acknowledge and greet all guests with courtesy, provide customer service, access control, monitor CCTV, announce visitors, and distribute packages.
- Device Check – scan tags on approved employee devices, verify IMEI with sticker or paperwork, and enforce device policies.
- North Dock – monitor trash dumps for theft attempts, open and close dock doors, track outbound trucks, count inbound pallets, and oversee special projects during peak season.
- South Dock – count inbound pallets, monitor special projects, manage email communication, type truck information, and open/close dock doors.
- Metal Detector – check devices and ensure only approved equipment enters; clear visitors through X‑ray and prevent prohibited items from entering the building.
- Tracker – maintain records of all high‑value loads via computer software.
- At least 18 years old.
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Active Perc Card.
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Minimum one year of customer service experience.
- Minimum one year of security experience.
- Pass pre‑employment screening (background and drug).
- Physical ability to crawl, crouch, climb stairs, kneel, run, sit, stand, stoop and walk for extended periods.
- Bilingual language skills.
- Evening, overnight, and weekend availability.
- Driver’s license (not required) – a satisfactory DMV history is a plus.
- Broader assignment to a vehicular mobile patrol.
- Positions start at $19 per hour depending on experience, location, and position.
