Overview

Our client is seeking a Supply Chain/Production Planner in manufacturing that coordinates material requirements, capacity, and scheduling to meet customer demand while optimizing inventory levels. They create production schedules, monitor progress, manage inventory, and collaborate with procurement/logistics to prevent shortages and ensure timely delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Production Scheduling: Develop weekly/monthly production plans and schedules, aligning manufacturing activities with sales forecasts and customer demand.
  • Inventory Optimization: Analyze inventory levels to ensure optimal stock, reducing excess while preventing shortages of raw materials and finished goods.
  • MRP/ERP Management: Utilize ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, MES) to release manufacturing orders and manage inventory records.
  • Material Coordination: Collaborate with procurement to align material availability with production schedules.
  • Troubleshooting: Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to accommodate maintenance, machine downtime, or changing demand.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and improve KPIs (e.g., on-time delivery).
Required

Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (like SAP or Oracle) and MS Excel/SQL.
  • Experience: 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing or plant supply chain environments. Must have previous experience in the electronic field.
  • Skills: Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills, along with proactive problem-solving abilities.
