As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will work directly with the Orthodontist to deliver exceptional patient care. This role requires strong clinical skills, orthodontic knowledge, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced practice.##
** What You’ll Do
*** Assist the Orthodontist during exams and orthodontic treatments, ensuring patient comfort and efficient clinical flow
* Prepare and break down operatories, maintain sterilization standards, and support daily clinical operations
* Perform orthodontic procedures under direct supervision, including:  + Placing and removing archwires  + Changing elastics and coil springs  + Placing and removing bands and retainers
* Capture digital scans and assist with the fabrication of orthodontic appliances and retainers
* Educate patients and families on treatment plans, oral hygiene, and appliance care
* Accurately chart treatment notes and collaborate with the clinical team to provide a seamless patient experience

** What We’re Looking For**
* ** Orthodontic assisting experience required**
* ** Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) required**,
* unless* the candidate has several years of direct orthodontic assisting experience
* Strong familiarity with orthodontic appliances, procedures, and terminology
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment
* Reliable, professional, and team-oriented with excellent communication skills##
