Vocal Instructor

School of Rock is a growing, passionate community dedicated to enriching lives through performance‑based music education. With over 425 schools worldwide, School of Rock is the largest after‑school music education provider. We are looking for a Vocal Instructor to join our Prosper location.

• Music Instruction: maximize the quality of instruction, ensure students learn fundamentals, and create thoughtful lesson plans.
• Customer Connection: communicate regularly with parents, be visible and accessible in school, assist with rehearsals and basic maintenance, and adhere to School of Rock Code of Conduct and safety policies.

• 3+ years’ experience teaching and/or performing music professionally
• Knowledge of music theory and curriculum design
• Excellent ability to deal well with a wide range of customers and people
• Strong organizational skills
• Very strong customer relations skills
• Resourceful and good problem‑solver
• Works well under pressure
• Ideal candidate is a working musician with formal music school training
• Enthusiastic, flexible, patient, and positive demeanor
• Good judgment a must
• Passion for teaching
