The Town of Prosper is seeking a qualified and dedicated individual for the position of SCADA Operator.
Hiring Salary Range: $49,412.01 - $56,823.81.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) years computer database and/or troubleshooting experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior experience operating a SCADA system preferred.
• Familiarity with TCEQ regulations covering Public Water Systems and Wastewater Collection Systems.
• Familiarity with SCADA systems, instrumentation and controls, equipment and facilities common to the Water and Wastewater industries, and their principles of operation.
• Possession or ability to obtain at least a Class II Wastewater and Class C Water Distribution Certification.
• Valid State of Texas Driver’s License.

The System Technician monitors, operates, and maintains the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system to ensure the effective operation of the Town’s Water Distribution and Wastewater Collection Systems. Performs daily field inspections, collects and records operational data, and ensures compliance with Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) regulations and minimum operating standards.
