Fedwire Funds, CHIPS, ACH, RTP, and Fed Now
Domain specialists with Payment’s processing in Transaction Banking for SWIFT (CBPR+) and US Payment Rails, namely, Fed Wire Funds, CHIPS, ACH, RTP, and Fed Now, with prior experience in large scale Payments Transformation / Modernization programs. The candidate is expected to demonstrate deep know‑how of payment processing from origination to clearing and settlement, for each of the payment rails. The candidate is expected to partner with senior business and technology stakeholders on the client side on modernizing the payment ecosystem with an aim to reduce the total cost of ownership.
This role demands liaising with client stakeholders and the Persistent team to clearly articulate the business requirements, process flows and applicable operating guidelines and operating rules as deemed applicable for various use cases. The candidate must have prior experience working in large scale Payment Modernization projects from strategy and planning to execution and implementation.
- Act as the key Payments domain advisor across strategy, planning, and execution
- Bridge business and technology teams—owning requirements, process flows, data mappings, and operating rules
- Lead workshops, define use cases, and support delivery through strong functional and domain leadership
- Contribute to modernization of payment ecosystems across real‑time, batch, and cross‑border payments.
- Exposure to APIs, IBM MQ, Kafka, JSON, Postman
- Experience with Fed Line Advantage
- Background in operating and governance model definition
- Strong domain expertise across SWIFT CBPR+ and US Payment Rails:
Fedwire Funds, CHIPS, ACH, RTP, and Fed Now - End‑to‑end knowledge of payment processing — from origination through clearing, settlement, and reconciliation
- Hands‑on experience with ISO 20022, NACHA standards, and rail‑specific message flows
- Proven experience partnering with senior business and technology stakeholders on payment modernization initiatives aimed at reducing TCO
