Operations Management, General Management
Chick-fil-A Director of Operations
We are looking for an experienced Chick-fil-A leader ready to take ownership at a higher level.
The Director of Operations is one of the highest-level leaders in the restaurant and reports directly to the General Manager. This leader owns the strength and consistency of daily operations, develops the leaders responsible for executing them, and helps turn organizational priorities into measurable results.
This is not a position built around personally running great shifts. It is built around creating an operation that performs at a high level because the people, systems, standards, and accountability are strong.
3+ years of Chick-fil-A experience required.
Full-time, in person, with flexibility to lead across days, evenings, and Saturdays based on business needs.
How We RunDefined ownership:
Every leader knows what they own, what the standard is, and how success is measured.
Numbers matter:
We regularly review operational and financial performance and use it to make decisions.
Honest accountability:
We coach first, address problems directly, and follow through.
A seat at the table:
Directors help identify priorities and build solutions, not simply carry out instructions.
Development on purpose:
Building stronger leaders is part of the job.
Systems over heroics:
We build solutions that continue working when we are not standing there.
- Lead day-to-day execution across Front of House and Back of House
- Drive Chick-fil-A standards for speed, accuracy, hospitality, quality, cleanliness, and food safety
- Lead, coach, and hold the restaurant leadership team accountable
- Own labor and productivity while protecting the guest experience
- Use operational results to identify problems and build sustainable solutions
- Strengthen systems so execution remains consistent across shifts and dayparts
- Develop leadership depth so the restaurant does not depend on any one person to succeed
- Identify and prepare high-potential leaders for greater responsibility
- Partner with the General Manager to set priorities and move the business forward
- Help ensure the operation remains strong when the General Manager is not in the building
Success in this role will be reflected in operational performance, financial stewardship, leadership development, team retention, and the consistency of the restaurant as a whole.

- You are comfortable making decisions and owning the outcome
- You are hungry to grow and humble enough to be coached
- You are secure enough to develop leaders who may eventually become capable of doing your job
- You would rather build a system that outlasts you than be the hero of one difficult shift

- Strong understanding of Chick-fil-A operations and standards
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop others
- Experience owning measurable operational results
