You will work alongside highly skilled doctors and technicians in a collaborative environment offering a full scope of small animal services.
Daily responsibilities include wellness and preventive care, surgical procedures, advanced diagnostic testing, and emergency care as needed. This position is located in Prosper, TX, a rapidly growing community with access to the Dallas–Fort Worth metro area.
Your Impact as a Veterinary Assistant- Provide Essential Patient Care:
Assist the medical team with hands-on care and ensure every animal is treated with compassion and respect. - Be the Go-To Support for the Medical Team:
Anticipate the needs of veterinarians and technicians to ensure a smooth, efficient, and collaborative workflow. - Create a Positive Client
Experience:
Assist with scheduling, payments, and communications, maintaining a courteous and informative approach. - Ensure a Safe and Clean Environment:
Maintain the hospital, perform clinic upkeep and equipment maintenance to uphold high standards of care.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A calm and efficient approach, with the ability to handle a fast-paced environment with composure.
- Confidence and skill in handling pets of all sizes and temperaments.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in fundamental veterinary tasks across laboratory, pharmacy, nursing, and radiology is an asset.
