The Emergency Veterinarian will provide immediate, comprehensive care for a wide range of emergency and critical cases. This role is ideal for clinicians who enjoy high-acuity medicine, collaboration with specialists, and a supportive ER culture
.
- Manage emergency and critical care cases including trauma and acute illness
- Perform physical exams, diagnostics, and treatment planning
- Carry out emergency procedures (CPR, airway management, stabilization, wound care)
- Administer medications and advanced supportive care
- Collaborate with specialists and ER team members
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced ER environment
- Abdominal and cardiac ultrasound experience is a plus
- ER surgery experience preferred
- DVM or VMD degree
- Rotating internship or equivalent ER experience preferred
- Strong emergency and critical care clinical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to perform under pressure
- Commitment to high-quality patient care and client service
