Job Summary

* The Laborer, Yard/Shop is responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Assist mechanic by performing maintenance and repairs on a variety of large and small engines

Education and Experience:

* Minimum 6 months of experience with basic truck and vehicle maintenance and repair

* Small engine, 2 cycle experience

* Diesel Engine, heavy and light equipment experience

* Bilingual (Spanish/English)

* Welding experience

Physical Demands/Requirements:

* Regular Heavy lifting up to 50 pounds

* Repetitive movement: standing, walking, twisting, turning, bending squatting, stooping

Work Environment:

* Noise level in work environment is usually moderate and Occasional exposure to outside weather conditions including sun, rain, cold.
