Full Charge Bookkeeper

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Providence, Rhode Island. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone who excels in managing financial records, balancing accounts, and ensuring accurate reporting. The role requires proficiency in bookkeeping processes and the ability to handle multiple financial tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities:

- Manage all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes with accuracy and timeliness.

- Perform detailed bank reconciliations to ensure account balances are correct and discrepancies are resolved.

- Maintain the general ledger by recording transactions, preparing journal entries, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

- Oversee payroll processes, including timely and accurate employee payments and related reporting.

- Utilize Quick Books and Quick Books Online for financial data entry, tracking, and reporting.

- Prepare financial statements and reports to provide insights into business performance.

- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with audits as needed.

- Monitor and improve bookkeeping procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

- Collaborate with management to provide support for financial planning and decision-making.

- Handle confidential financial information with discretion and professionalism. Requirements - Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role.

- Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.

- Strong knowledge of general ledger maintenance and journal entries.

- Familiarity with payroll processes and related regulations.

- Advanced skills in Quick Books and Quick Books Online.

- Ability to generate accurate financial statements and reports.

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Strong analytical abilities to identify and resolve financial discrepancies.
