Responsibilities
- Assist with the compilation and analysis of financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts; assist with the timely and accurate completion of required standard journal entries to facilitate monthly closing.
- Develop pertinent accounting and related data to prepare reports and statements.
- Assist in the coordination with the Forecasting and planning team.
- Assist with the preparation of account reconciliations, analysis, accruals, and journal entries for senior management monthly and external auditor annually.
- Process general ledger entries and assist with the preparation of account analysis.
- Analyze and evaluate accounting problems and take appropriate action.
- Work with internal and external customers to resolve accounting discrepancies; deliver AAA Five Diamond Service Standards to management and other business contacts.
- Monitor compliance with generally accepted accounting procedures and internal policies; identify opportunities for procedural enhancement; submit detailed recommendations regarding improvements or enhancements to Club accounting systems and practices; alert management when policies or procedures may unintentionally create opportunities for fraud.
- Assist other Financial Accountants with reconciliation issues as needed.
- Learn to perform a wide variety of accounting work.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in accounting required.
Experience:
1–3 years related experience required.
