Our client, a well-established Rhode Island company, is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee accounting operations and lead a small team. This is a hands-on leadership role with growth opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage month-end and year-end close
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff
• Review journal entries and reconciliations
• Prepare and review financial statements
• Ensure GAAP compliance and internal controls
• Coordinate audits and external reporting
• Improve accounting processes and efficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• ERP system experience
• CPA preferred but not required
