We are seeking an Audit Associate to join our assurance practice in our Providence, RI office. The individual will be responsible for assisting with audit engagements for commercial clients across a variety of industries.
- Assist in the execution of audit and assurance engagements for commercial clients.
- Perform audit procedures, including testing, documentation, and analysis of financial data.
- Prepare work papers in accordance with firm standards and professional guidelines.
- Identify and communicate audit issues to senior team members.
- Interact professionally with clients and respond to information requests.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and related disclosures.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited college/university required.
- 1-2 years progressive auditing experience in public accounting required.
- CPA or progress toward certification preferred.
- Proven experience working with clients of varying sizes and industries.
- Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP and auditing standards.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Must be able to travel locally to clients when required.
- Must be able to work in‑office a minimum of 3 days per week.
