This part-time Accounting Clerk role is an on-site position based in Providence, RI. The Accounting Clerk will support day-to-day accounting operations, including processing invoices, recording transactions, and assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable. Responsibilities may include reconciling accounts, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing basic reports, and supporting month-end closing activities. The role also involves updating spreadsheets, filing and organizing documents, and collaborating with other team members to ensure timely and precise financial data entry.

• Candidates should possess strong basic accounting skills, including familiarity with accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger concepts. Constructions experience is a plus!
• Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Word.
• Candidates should possess solid numerical, analytical, and data-entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Candidates should possess effective organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks in a part-time schedule.
• Candidates should possess clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues on-site.
• Relevant experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role and a high school diploma or equivalent are expected; additional coursework in accounting or finance is beneficial.
