Need strong computer skills in an office setting (healthcare setting may be helpful).
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Licensing & Administrative Support Specialist to support the Center for Health Facilities Regulation. This role is responsible for processing healthcare facility applications and renewals, maintaining confidential records, entering complaint data, preparing correspondence, and providing excellent customer service via phone, email, and in person.
The ideal candidate will have strong administrative, data entry, and customer service skills, experience managing electronic and physical records, and the ability to communicate effectively with healthcare providers, government agencies, and the public. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems is preferred.
Qualifications- A working knowledge of the applicable statutes, rules and regulations pertaining to the licensure of health service providers.
- Ability to apply such knowledge in the context of a computerized licensing system including the preparation of required documentation and the operation of related equipment and peripherals.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidence of records and information.
- Ability to properly manage and maintain physical and electronic records.
- Ability to operate office equipment, computer software and hardware.
- Ability to take initiative in identifying problems and working creatively to solve them.
- Thorough working knowledge of office administrative practices and computer database systems.
- Ability to work independently on difficult or relatively complex tasks.
- Ability to interact professionally and courteously with the public and licensees.
- Ability to effectively communicate and maintain effective relationships with associates or with the public.
- Related capacities and abilities.
