Bilingual Assistant Property Manager Opportunity - Providence, RI

Position Summary:

Under the general supervision of the Regional Property Manager, the Assistant Property Manager supports current and prospective residents, helps maintain a safe and welcoming community environment, and assists with documentation, compliance, and resident file management. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, service‑oriented, and comfortable working in a fast–paced property management setting.

Pay Range: $21.00-$23.50/hour

Regional Property Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update the housing waitlist and communicate with prospective residents through property management software.
  • Coordinate service requests with facilities management using task and inspection software.
  • Prepare and process detailed, legally compliant lease agreements.
  • Manage rent payments and payment plans to support timely rent collection.
  • Support property managers by preparing correspondence, documentation, and reports.
  • Assist with annual, REAC, and other property inspections using inspection software.
  • Help coordinate extermination services and related resident communication.
  • Organize and maintain calendars, schedules, filing systems, and records.
  • Pre‑screen applicants for eligibility and income requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain permanent tenant files.
  • Assist residents with accessing resources and completing documents and applications.
  • Receive rent checks, tenant applications, and transfer requests.
  • Create and maintain online rental listings and follow up with prospective leads.
  • Assign, track, and update resident parking stickers.
  • Use Real Page and other property management systems to support data entry, work order tracking, and communication with staff and residents.
  • Enter critical, time‑sensitive information into databases and software systems and complete spreadsheet reporting in a timely manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Other Responsibilities
  • Provide team coverage as needed for Property Managers and related functions.
  • Support other departments as needed on matters related to property management responsibilities.
Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college coursework or certification in administrative support, business, or accounting is preferred.

At least 3 years of administrative office experience required; property management experience preferred.

  • Ability to learn industry‑specific software and new systems quickly.
  • Ability to take initiative, use sound judgment, solve problems independently, and maintain attention to detail.
