Position Summary

Responsible for scheduling Providers and ancillary staff in Minute Clinics to ensure adequate market coverage with the goal of keeping the clinics open 100% of the time. The Minute Clinic Region Coordinator must navigate multiple scheduling platforms, assess overtime and staffing needs of clinics, and identify unique staffing needs of retail health clinics.

The coordinator will work with their direct supervisor, market leadership, and staff to analyze market-level scheduling and financial reports related to staffing & scheduling.

Responsibilities
  • Support a full‑time 40‑hour schedule (M‑F, 6 AM – 6 PM).
  • Schedule and coordinate the work schedules (Clinical & Non‑Clinical) of Providers and ancillary staff using various scheduling tools while managing multiple regions/states.
  • Handle markets with rotating schedules and support all markets with on‑call duties and replacement of staff as needed.
  • Schedule based on policies, procedures and timetables.
  • Ensure markets remain within staffing & scheduling budget; generate reports on minimum hours, weekend shift requirements, overtime and non‑clinical hours.
  • Produce monthly financial trend reports for Area Directors and Chief Nurse Practitioner Officer.
  • Coordinate with market leadership to find providers to fill open shifts caused by vacations, sick days, disability leave, jury duty or last‑minute vacancies, minimizing overtime.
  • Recognize staffing needs based on seasonality and work with market leadership to develop staffing models and forecasting.
  • Maintain and create provider and ancillary staff profiles in the scheduling system and update any information as required.
  • Create orientation schedules.
  • Provide day‑to‑day scheduling support: update Clinical Management tool and other scheduling tools daily.
Qualifications
  • Required: 1 year minimum in scheduling.
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Comfortable navigating web‑based applications; prior use of scheduling software systems preferred.
  • Ability to see the big picture.
  • Effective communication with all levels (Providers, SPMs, ADs, Leadership).

  • Positive attitude.

Education:

High School diploma or GED equivalent.

Pay and Benefits

Anticipated weekly hours: 40 (full time).

Pay range: $17.00 - $31.30 per hour (base hourly rate or base annual full‑time salary, depending on position grade). The actual offer may vary based on experience, education, geography and other factors. The position is eligible for bonus, commission or short‑term incentive program in addition to base pay.
