Seasonal Assistant (Policy) (Lieutenant Governor)
The Seasonal Special Assistant will assist with various tasks related to operations, communications, and community outreach, including but not limited to: preparation and logistics for public appearances, driving and supporting the Lieutenant Governor at meetings and events; constituent services, special projects, event planning, and research.
Illustrative examples of work performed include: assisting operations, communications, and community outreach staff with preparing and coordinating logistics for events, meetings, forums, and public appearances; driving, accompanying, and otherwise supporting the Lieutenant Governor at meetings and events; intaking and responding to constituent inquiries; drafting correspondence; researching topics related to policy and office initiatives; and other related administrative tasks.
Required qualifications for appointment include: exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and external partners; ability to answer phone calls and assist in solving constituent inquiries; ability to exercise discretion and sound judgement; availability to work evenings and weekends based on needs of the office and meeting schedules; candidates must have a valid driver's license; proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard computer applications;
candidates fluent in Spanish are encouraged to apply.
The correct salary is $25.00 an hour.
