Electronic Test Technician

Responsibilities:

  • Work from specifications, schematics, charts and verbal instructions to repair, wire and troubleshoot a wide variety of products.
  • Should be able to interpret schematics and have a strong electronic understanding with proven ability to correct malfunctions.
  • Must be able to troubleshoot to component level and use a variety of test equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and micro calibrators.
  • May at times be required to serve as liaison with customers on technical matters.

Requirements:

  • Previous training in specialized subjects, such as analog and digital electronics and intermediate computer skills needed.
  • Candidate with background in ESD as well as soldering skills would be beneficial.
  • Minimum 2 years experience with electronic test and assembly.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Associates degree in electronics or equivalent technical education would be preferred.
