The Sr Mgr of Business Operations and Reporting identifies business line financial trends and data driven insights around business operations, sales metrics and processes providing actionable measures into various aspects of the business to support its growth. Overseeing partner overrides and product performance, the role also backs up budget management for the business. Developing predictive data modeling and analysis to help drive decision‑making, strategy creation, and tactical execution around sales, product, and marketing initiatives.
Responsible for delivering detailed metrics around sales campaigns as well as higher level trends to support the overall business strategy, this role works closely with IT, ecommerce and marketing analytics. This position requires candidates to develop and manage tools to extract data, interpret findings, and identify trends that can be leveraged by the business to increase sales.
- Develop and manage the financial, product, sales and marketing data platforms for accessibility. Maintain reporting structures and dashboards. Analytics projects may include targeting, segmentation, and optimization to support cross‑business strategic priorities and business decision‑making. Evaluate campaigns and optimize effectiveness. Other analytics projects will include CRM based targeting, segmentation, and optimization to support cross‑business strategic priorities and business decision‑making.
- Manage the development and payouts of staff incentive plans as well as assist in the training
- Manage and collaborate on the build of budgets, including tracking, forecasting and analysis of financial budgets
- Leverages CRM and uses statistical analysis to drive campaign success. Manage financial analysis, data analysis, trend identification, promotional analysis, and advertising effectiveness (traditional channels and digital), lift in sales, and ROI
- Perform advanced analytics including modeling, forecasting, predictive analytics that deliver recommendations for growth, cost reduction and optimization of operational performance. Works to build travel models and evaluations, design hypothesis tests, oversee test execution and result evaluation. Including sales performance by agent
- Analyze trends in the industry as well as building out CI for the purpose of market responsiveness and speed. Manage product analysis from internal and external sources to evaluate partners and make recommendations for new partnerships, and products
- Generate reports, documentation and scoring as part of the analysis process. Identify meaningful trends or patterns that impact strategic decisions and future marketing investments and regularly share results with marketing stakeholders. Provide recommendations for new methods to enhance analytics
- Serves as back up in regards to financial reports, budgeting, and controls
- Bachelor's Degree Finance, Marketing, Operations Research, Applied Math/Statistics, Computer Science or a related field required
- Master's Degree Finance, Marketing, Operations Research, Applied Math/Statistics, Computer Science or a related field preferred
- Travel experience preferred
- 8+ years Analytics preferably focused on Marketing or Business Analytics required
- 8+ years SQL and Statistical Packages like SPSS / SAS required
- 8+ years Data Visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI required
- 8+ years Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, macros, and v‑lookup required
- 8+ years Marketing measurement, data‑mining, experimental design, and other statistical techniques required
- 8+ years Calculating incremental lift from marketing campaigns required
- 3+ years Management Experience preferred
