Position: Team Leader ($20 - $22 hr) Civic Center Garage

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly base pay: $20 per hour. The work schedule is flexible during events. Employees may enroll in accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity, telemedicine insurance, and the company 401(k) retirement savings plan, subject to eligibility and length of employment. Benefits are not available for seasonal and temporary roles. All compensation is commensurate with candidate’s skills, experience, education, or training and location.

Job Summary

The Team Leader is responsible for operating a property that operates less than a 24/7 schedule with nine or fewer guest service associates (GSAs). Working under the District Manager or an assigned off‑site Account Manager, the Team Leader coordinates, administers, troubleshoots, and guides the team to meet or exceed service standards.

Essential Functions
  • Consistently deliver guest/patient service experience on all shifts.
  • Allocate labor resources efficiently to support service delivery and adjust staffing levels as business conditions change.
  • Understand client service standards and integrate Towne Park’s standards.
  • Handle guest/patient complaints and difficult situations with composure under pressure.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of the client facility, including outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, main attractions, parking rates, and other pertinent information.
  • Participate in “The Show” and deliver aggressive hospitality to guests and patients.
  • Check in arriving guests/patients and explain vehicle parking and retrieval procedures.
  • Park and retrieve vehicles quickly and safely while driving cautiously at a slow speed.
  • Use proper phone etiquette for all guest/patient interactions.
  • Display appropriate greeting for each site.
  • Conduct effective room presentations for bell services to hotel guests.
  • Assist with delivery and pick‑up of items to guest/patient rooms.
  • Provide directions, taxis, reservations, and other inquiries to guests/patients.
  • Assign routine roles to fellow associates and allocate coworkers to non‑ordinary roles.
  • Engage in the hiring process to select the best candidates for the location.
  • Promote an environment that retains talented associates and share feedback with the District Manager or assigned account manager.
  • Ensure new associates receive proper orientation and on‑the‑job training.
  • Recognize and coach top performers, provide feedback, and conduct shift huddles on every shift.
  • Promote a teamwork philosophy through leading by example and effective communication skills.
  • Develop cohesive working relationships with client staff, maintain regular meetings, and follow through on commitments.
  • Stay visible at the site, maintain focus on exceeding client expectations, and identify opportunities to grow Towne Park business.
  • Maintain controls for scheduling, overtime, tip reporting, and timekeeping.
  • Use Towne Park’s standardized business systems to build work schedules and notify associates of schedule changes.
  • Collect revenue for all vehicles, complete accurate cash drop slips and envelopes, and reconcile revenue and tickets at shift end.
  • Complete shift reports and other paperwork accurately and report improvements to the District Manager or assigned account manager.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university.
  • Licensure/Certification: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Age Requirement: At least 18 years old.
  • Background: Must pass a criminal background check, motor vehicle record (MVR) review, and drug screen.
  • Experience: One to two years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of GSA procedures.
  • Skills:
    • Can drive a manual transmission vehicle.
    • Strong planning, prioritization, and multitasking ability under pressure.
    • Demonstrated work ethic, drive, energy, and persistence to achieve goals.
    • Professionalism and stability when facing changing and difficult situations.
    • Computer proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and point‑of‑sale applications.
