Senior Product Manager - Electric

Overview

This hybrid position requires on-site presence three days per week at one of our local offices in Allentown, PA;
Louisville, KY; or Providence, RI. The Senior Product Manager leads product planning and product marketing, identifying opportunities and deciding what gets built and delivered to internal and external customers. The role owns the product vision for our enterprise, aligns teams around high‑value business outcomes, and collaborates with engineering, design, and stakeholders to deliver digital solutions that delight users and customers.

• Own the product vision and align teams to deliver high‑value business outcomes.
• Develop and maintain discovery and delivery backlogs, roadmaps, and study the business, users, and customers to uncover insights and opportunities.
• Use qualitative and quantitative data to shape priorities and feature definitions, mining multiple sources to validate problems and opportunities.
• Work with engineering and design during discovery to validate solutions and address risks to value, viability, feasibility, and usability upfront.
• Serve as Product Owner on agile delivery teams, resolving in‑sprint issues and challenges.
• Directly supervise Product Analysts, coaching and supporting their development.
• Ensure product success at the enterprise level, driving user adoption and collaborating with stakeholders to maximize business value.
• Align stakeholders across the enterprise on strategy, manage conflict, and maintain transparent prioritization of needs and roadmap status.
• Define and align product team OKRs in partnership with the product portfolio leader.
• Analyze technical, operational, and market considerations for new product development and differentiation.
• Act as the voice of the product(s) to senior management and stakeholders.
• Leverage deep business domain expertise to identify opportunities to improve or expand digital capabilities aligned with our strategy.
• Identify emerging market and technology needs.
• May be assigned an Electric Utilities emergency and storm role during power restoration or other emergencies, potentially requiring after‑hours work.

  Bachelor’s Degree
• Required Experience: 7+ years of related experience
• Required Experience: 5+ years of leadership with cross‑functional teams
• Experience leading product and/or process improvements
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to balance short‑term needs with long‑term strategy
• Ability to challenge the status quo
• Strong business and financial acumen to facilitate strategic planning, business reviews, and opportunity assessments
• Ability to collaborate cross‑functionally and influence through data, insights, and storytelling
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in product management
• Previous experience in product design, software, or engineering
• Experience working in a highly matrixed product organization
• Experience overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle
• Experience in agile methodologies and working on an agile team
• Cross‑functional team leadership
• Experience in the energy industry
• Understanding and operating in an Agile environment
