City of Providence is seeking a Fire Dispatcher who will receive emergency calls, interpret information, look up apparatus response, and dispatch the appropriate equipment to incidents; maintain records of alarms and monitor voltages as required. The position follows a four days on, two days off schedule, with a night shift from 11pm to 7am.
The term is limited and may become permanent depending on service needs.
