You will protect and promote the interests of both Gilbane and the client in all matters as well as demonstrating the personal characteristics of a developing leader.
ResponsibilitiesProvides support services to the Prequal Analysts, Project Teams, Chief Purchasing Agent, Purchasing Agents, and Operational Procurement as necessary
Performs trade contractor outreach to obtain all necessary documentation required for Gilbane's prequalification process
Supports trade contractors in completing their registration, profile and uploading their current supporting documents in the prequalification software
Assists in the management of Bid List information, working toward completeness and correctness
Maintains Business Unit (BU) Master Bidders List, updating current bidder prequalification status throughout the bid period
Confirms current prequalification status of each potential bidder, inviting those with no status or expired status to prequalify
Monitors and follows up with bidders on the bidders list
Communicates prequalification review needs to the GIG Prequalification Analyst
Makes the prequalification status of each bidder available to the Purchasing Department
Ensures that trade contractors marked as "Pending Review" have current and complete documentation
QualificationsExperience/Education
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
- 0-3 years of professional experience
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to function as an integral part of a team while being highly collaborative
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong planning, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Ability to properly time manage and meet quick turnaround deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Bilingual preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Salary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team.
The pay ranges from $50,000 - 65,000 plus benefits and retirement program.
