Job Description
Brown University Athletics is seeking candidates for the Athletics Photography Assistant. This position will be tasked with photographing games, practices, and other events as they arise.
Located in Providence, Rhode Island, and a member of the Ivy League, our intercollegiate athletics program consists of 34 varsity teams with approximately 1,000 athletes who participate within the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA-DI).
Responsibilities- Shooting and editing photos at live athletic events such as games and practices
- Shooting and editing photos of other events as they arise
- Access to own camera and other photography equipment
- Access to own computer for editing purposes
- Ability to work nights and weekends
- Willingness and ability to support a diverse and inclusive environment
- Completion of a criminal background, education and credit check, and MVR check satisfactory to Brown University prior to commencing employment
- All offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of background check and education verification satisfactory to Brown
- Employment requires demonstration of exemplary ethical conduct and conformance to NCAA rules and regulations, and reporting of violations
- Coaching positions require annual rules education on NCAA legislation, current AED/CPR and First Aid certification (available at no cost through the Division)
