Athletics Creative Video Assistant
Brown University Athletics is seeking candidates for the Athletics Creative Video Assistant position. Under the direction of the communications department, this role will assist the athletic department in the creation of creative video content, with an emphasis on social media content. This position is best suited for someone with some familiarity or interest in learning the Adobe Creative Suite and other equipment (DSLR cameras, etc.).
The position will require working some nights and weekends.
- Filming games, practices and other events.
- Editing video projects geared toward social media.
- Other duties as assigned by coaching staff or athletic department staff.
- Ensure all footage meets NCAA, Ivy League, and Brown policies.
- Maintain adherence to ethical conduct and report any violations to compliance office.
- Assist with background checks and education verification as required.
- Cooperate with coaching staff to stay current with NCAA legislation and maintain AED/CPR, First Aid certification.
- Interest or familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ability to learn and use DSLR camera equipment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work nights and weekends.
- Commitment to NCAA and Brown policies and ethical conduct.
