AYS Phone Operator- 1st Shift

Description

The Le Meridien Sheraton Charlotte Hotel, a 690-room dual‑complex in Uptown Charlotte, is seeking a Command Center / Guest Service Agent. The primary role is to answer hotel phone calls and handle telephone inquiries with a friendly, service‑oriented approach.

Scheduled hours vary weekly between Monday–Sunday. Weekdays, weekends, and holidays are required. First Shift: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.

• Answer the hotel switchboard and transfer calls to guest rooms or other hotel facilities.
• Deal with telephone related requests from groups such as special extensions for calls, messages, etc.
• Handle and close all guest requests using GXP (Centralized Guest Satisfaction System).
• Communicate requests of hotel guests to appropriate departments to ensure guest satisfaction; open, follow‑up on, and close cases on GXP to ensure task completion.
• Handle emergency procedures, such as calling fire department, paramedics, police, etc.
• Accurately use various office software.
