Hematology​/Oncology Physician

Length: 13 weeks (ongoing coverage, 1 2 weeks per month)
Location: North Providence, RI

• Coverage Type: Scheduled + Call required

• Outpatient Clinic: 3 days per week, 8:00am 4:30pm

• Inpatient Rounding: 1 2 hours daily, based on consult volume

• Frequency: 1 2 weeks per month

• Shift Type: Day shift (8 hours)

• Patient Volume:

  • Outpatient: patients/day

  • Inpatient:
    Varies, consult-based

• Practice Setting: Hospital/Clinic mix

• Treatment/Procedures: Biopsies as needed

• EMR: 80% paper, 20% Meditech

• Board Certification: Required (Hematology/Oncology)

• License: Rhode Island license + DEA (required; emergency privileges available)

• Certifications: Not specified beyond BC & DEA

• Orientation:

  • First-day orientation with education team

  • Floor-specific orientation afterward (case by case)
