We have an exciting new position for an OUTPATIENT PHYSIATRIST to join a growing Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation team seeing the patients of two major medical centers in this desirable capital city 45 minutes south of Boston. Join a group of enthusiastic, caring clinicians using the latest tools and working together every day to improve the health and quality of life of patients.

Fellows and Residents finishing their PM&R training can apply now. J1 or H1b visa sponsorship may be available. You could develop a subspecialty interest in areas such as Neurology or Cancer Rehab. Candidates with experience doing EMGs will receive priority attention, though this is not required.

Enjoy a convenient weekday schedule in this rewarding, multi-faceted role. You will see, evaluate and follow up with patients to (in part) assess for potential placement in an inpatient acute rehabilitation center. This group uses a team-based approach, collaborating with specialists including Hospitalists and fellow Physiatrists, Therapists, Advanced Practice Providers, Nurses and more.

The employer is a large multi-specialty system with Ivy League affiliations. In addition to providing direct patient care you will have excellent options to participate in research and (with a potential academic appointment) to teach residents and medical students. You will serve as a PM&R Ambassador, developing relationships with referring providers in the community.
