Special Education Teacher

Position: Contract Special Education Teacher for the 26/27 School Year
Soliant is seeking passionate and dedicated Special Education Teachers for multiple full-time openings in Providence, Rhode Island for the upcoming school year. These positions are within an Autism Program serving students in self-contained classroom settings.

The district is looking for collaborative educators who are comfortable working closely with paraprofessionals and support staff to create a positive and structured learning environment for students.

Position Details:

• 37.5 hours per week
• School-based Autism Program
• Self-contained classrooms
• Approximately 10 students per classroom
• 3-6 paraprofessionals assigned within each classroom
• Openings available for Grades K-12
• Please include your preferred grade level(s) when applying

Qualifications:

• Active Rhode Island Special Education teaching certification required
• Experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder preferred
• Strong classroom management and collaboration skills
• Passion for supporting diverse learning needs
