This position offers a consistent weekday schedule from 7:30 am to 2:15 pm, working closely with 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. You'll collaborate with general education teachers and provide both push-in academic support in inclusive classrooms and a limited number of pull-out sessions targeting academics and Multilingual Learner (MLL) needs. Your work will empower students to meet their learning goals while fostering a positive, engaging classroom culture.

Qualifications & Desired

Experience:

• Valid Special Education certification (active or eligible)
• ESL endorsement strongly preferred
• Experience working with grades 6-8, particularly in inclusion settings
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to support students with diverse learning profiles, including multilingual learners

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver push-in academic support for students in general education classrooms
• Organize and lead small-group or individual pull-out sessions focused on academic and MLL support
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with staff and families
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to monitor and report on student progress
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and compliance with education laws and best practices
• Foster an equitable, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students
