The Department of Economics invites applications for two Visiting Assistant Professor positions beginning Fall 2026. The appointment is for one year with a teaching load of three courses per semester. Courses will be taught in‑person at the Providence College campus.

• Teach three (3) courses per semester, including Microeconomics Principles and Macroeconomics Principles, and potentially other higher‑level courses such as Sports Economics, Public Finance, and Labor Economics.
• Demonstrate a commitment to effective and inclusive teaching with a diverse student body.

• Master’s degree in economics required;
  PhD or ABD preferred.
• Ability to instruct Microeconomics Principles and Macroeconomics Principles; additional expertise in Sports Economics, Public Finance, and Labor Economics is desirable.
