Make a meaningful difference each day while shaping the lives of students with autism and developmental disabilities. This full-time, onsite position offers the opportunity to support elementary students in a dynamic and engaging learning environment throughout the  school year. With three openings available, you'll become part of a collaborative team dedicated to student growth and success.

In this role, you'll deliver individualized instruction and foster an inclusive classroom setting with 8-12 students per class. Your expertise and passion for special education will play a vital role in helping young learners reach their potential.

Qualifications & Desired

Experience:
  • Valid Special Education Teacher certification (or eligibility)
  • Previous experience with students on the autism spectrum or with developmental disabilities is preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt and modify curriculum to meet individual learning needs
  • Commitment to a positive, patient, and supportive teaching approach
  • Comfortable working onsite throughout the school year
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student
  • Develop lesson plans and classroom activities that promote academic, social, and emotional growth
  • Foster a safe, respectful, and motivating environment for all students
  • Work closely with paraprofessionals, therapists, and families to ensure comprehensive support
  • Monitor and assess student progress, making adjustments as needed to ensure continued development
