Prep Dates: July 2, 6, 31, & Aug. 4
Program Dates: July 7 – 30, 2026 (Tuesday – Thursday)
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
The Summer Site Coordinator serves as a liaison for the 2026 Summer Program to facilitate student engagement and academic success.
Compensation:
Not to exceed $5,000 (contingent upon funding).
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Education from an accredited teacher education program.
Minimum Qualification Standards- Prior experience in an education setting, preferably urban.
- Background in interpreting educational assessments.
- Knowledge of Common Core State Standards.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and supervisory skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Provide information and support to summer learning program parents, students, teachers, and staff.
- Assist administration and teachers in collecting and reporting data to guide program improvement.
- Monitor implementation of program goals to ensure compliance with relevant guidelines and regulations.
- Collaborate with program administration, teachers, students, and parents; serve as a point of contact for parent engagement.
- Assist teachers with acquisition of instructional materials and facilitate teacher needs as required.
- Assist program administration with scheduling, student monitoring, and discipline.
- Promote a school atmosphere conducive to the intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development of all students.
- Monitor and evaluate student outcomes and maintain appropriate records following required procedures.
- Participate in a professional community, including common planning, professional development, and self‑reflection/evaluation.
- Supervise students in a range of settings; protect and promote the safety and well‑being of students, colleagues, equipment, materials, and facilities.
- Communicate and interact professionally with students, colleagues, parents, and the community.
- Continuously develop teaching practice and support colleagues in their development.
- Support the Summer Learning Program Director.
- Commit to working all days of the program.
