Qualifications:

• Active LPN/LVN license in Rhode Island, or eligible for reciprocity.
• Previous experience in a school setting or pediatric care preferred.
• Ability to work independently and maintain composure in a classroom environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with educators, families, and medical professionals.
• Organized, compassionate, and dedicated to supporting students' unique health needs.

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct, 1:1 nursing care to an elementary student throughout the school day.
• Administer medications and manage medical interventions as prescribed.
• Document care and update health records in accordance with school and nursing guidelines.
• Communicate progress or concerns with the educational team and family.
• Support the student's participation in daily classroom activities, ensuring a safe environment.

Position Details:

• Summer (ESY):
  July 6, 2026 - July 30, 2026;
  Monday to Thursday, 11:00am - 1:00pm.
• School Year (NSY):
  Starts August 26, 2026; full-time schedule.
