Rhode Island. School Year: 2026-27.

• Create a positive, achievement-oriented and structured learning environment that excites and invests students in reaching ambitious goals.
• Build classroom community by partnering with families to facilitate children's academic success and personal development.
• Utilize data from Interim assessments to drive instruction and intervention.
• Implement unit and lesson plans with the grade or subject team.
• Exemplify core values in all interactions with students, families, and colleagues.

• Collaborate with coach, grade‑level chair, and school team to improve instructional, culture‑building, and leadership skills.
• Attend all professional development, team planning, and data analysis meetings.

• Strong instructional and classroom management skills.
• High level of personal organization and planning.
• Embraces feedback as an opportunity for growth, openly listening and reflecting on input from others.

• Experience working with K‑12 students; two years of teaching experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree with a GPA of at least 3.0;
  Master’s degree preferred.
• If GPA is between 2.5 and 3.0, submit additional recommendations for consideration.
• Rhode Island certified or in the process of obtaining certification.
• Certified for role:
  Elementary Special Education Teacher (11282), Grades K‑8;
  Middle Grades Special Education Teacher (11382), Grades 5‑8;
  Secondary Grades Special Education Teacher (11482), Grades 6‑12.

• Competitive salary set through equity lens, based on skills, education, and experience;
  Teacher salaries in RI range from $50,500 to $94,336.
