Qualifications & Desired

Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching certification
• Previous experience working with students with diverse learning needs
• Strong knowledge of IEP processes and writing measurable goals
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Creative, flexible approach to instruction and classroom management
• Familiarity with current instructional technology and adaptive tools

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Develop, modify, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct instruction tailored to students' unique strengths and challenges
• Monitor and record student progress towards academic and behavioral objectives
• Collaborate closely with teachers, paraprofessionals, administrators, and families
• Maintain an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
• Participate in professional development, team meetings, and parent conferences
• Adhere to school and state guidelines regarding special education services
