Teacher 5th Grade

Job Description

As a 5th Grade Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping young minds by delivering engaging lessons aligned with the State Standard and custom school curricula. You will manage a classroom of fewer than 20 students, fostering a supportive and structured learning environment. Collaboration with the Curriculum Coordinator and use of interactive whiteboards and basic computer access will support your teaching efforts.

• Plan and prepare lessons according to state and custom curricula
• Manage classroom behavior and dynamics effectively
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Deliver curriculum content clearly and engagingly
• Supervise students to ensure a safe learning environment

• 1+ years experience in elementary education
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
• Strong skills in classroom management and lesson planning
• Demonstrated patience and warmth in student interactions

A small K-12 private school on the East Side of Providence.
