School Psychologist Opportunity
Provide school-based psychological services for a 36-week contract in Providence, Rhode Island. Earn up to $67/hr based on experience and contribute to student assessment, IEP/504 support, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct psycho educational and functional assessments to support eligibility decisions and educational planning
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and special education teams to develop recommendations for IEPs and 504 plans
- Interpret assessment results and communicate findings clearly to families and multidisciplinary teams
- Provide consultation, guidance, and intervention recommendations to support student academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
- Master's degree in School Psychology or Psychology (or equivalent)
- Valid Rhode Island School Psychologist certification or ability to obtain prior to start
- 1+ year of school-based experience as a School Psychologist, including assessments and IEP/504 support
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and eligibility processes
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professionalism and adaptability in a school environment
- Must be able to work standard ES days
- Background check may be required as part of onboarding
