• Start date for teachers:
  August 24; students begin August 31
• Serve grades 6–8, with a manageable classroom size of around 20 students
• School day runs from 7:45 AM to 2:55 PM
• Focus on delivering engaging general science instruction
• Located near Providence, RI

• Valid teaching credential with a focus in General Science or related subject
• Demonstrated experience teaching middle school-aged students
• Deep knowledge of science curriculum and best instructional practices for grades 6–8
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to create an inclusive, dynamic classroom community
• Commitment to supporting diverse learners and fostering critical thinking

• Develop and deliver daily science lessons across 6th, 7th, and 8th grade levels
• Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting instruction to ensure growth
• Collaborate with fellow educators and administrators to enhance student outcomes
• Foster a hands-on, inquiry-based approach to science education
• Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning atmosphere
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress
