We are seeking a passionate, dedicated Special Education Teacher to support students with diverse learning needs across grade levels. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, culturally competent, and committed to supporting students.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct instruction, accommodations, and modifications to meet student needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusion practices
- Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation
- Communicate regularly with families and related service providers
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Uphold the school’s commitment to bilingual education and inclusive excellence
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Valid RI teaching certification in Special Education
- Experience working in diverse, multilingual school settings preferred
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
