Rate: $44–$55/hour
Job SummarySeeking a Training Specialist to develop and deliver technical and operational training for the Rhode Island Energy Contact Center. The ideal candidate can create training content, facilitate sessions, and develop into a subject matter expert on business processes, systems, and procedures.
Responsibilities- Develop and deliver ILT, eLearning, SOPs, job aids, and assessments.
- Facilitate classroom, virtual, and on-the-job training.
- Partner with operational and product teams to identify training gaps and develop solutions.
- Track training participation, assessment results, and retraining needs.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve programs.
- Stay current with training methodologies, LMS platforms, and learning technologies.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and SMEs.
- Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of progressive training experience.
- Experience developing and facilitating technical/operational training.
- Strong content development, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Experience with eLearning, LMS, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills.
- Utility/energy industry experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to quickly learn complex systems and processes and become a subject matter expert.
