Instrument and Controls Designer

We're looking for an Instrument and Controls Designer, who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients' business.

• Accountable for developing Piping & Instrument Diagrams (P&) following ANSI/ISA S5.1 symbology, and panel design including panel layout and wiring diagrams.
• Manage demanding project schedules, prepare accurate reports, and demonstrate communication skills.
• Work on projects designing state‑of‑the‑art data centre, semiconductor, and other manufacturing facilities.
• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings of industrial facility control systems.
• Work within global multidisciplinary teams.
• Manage time efficiently across multiple projects.

• Associate Degree in drafting or engineering technology.
• At least 2 years of BIM design experience.
• Experience using BIM
  360, Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
• Experience designing data centre, semiconductor and other industrial facilities.
• Experience in instrumentation and controls.
• Familiarity with Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (PIDs).
• Familiarity with controls, electrical panels and cable tray.
• Familiarity with instrument placement.

The base salary range for this position is $58,200.00 to $80,000.00; however, will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
