Mapping Coordinator
Location:
Providence, RI
Duration: 06 Months Contract
Job Summary /
Description:
Provide supports to Mapping/GIS supervisor overseeing Mapping personnel in collecting and inputting mapping data into the RI GIS system.
Job Duties:
Assist supervisor in training, monitoring, and developing personnel
Review, approve, and post projects in the mapping system
Responsible for updating and maintaining the backlog database
Generate and update various reports for tracking performance
Assist supervisor and ensure department goals are met
Position Requirements (Required Skills):
Associate degree in engineering discipline or equivalent work experience in Automated Mapping GIS is a plus
