Xplored SRL, an Italy-based game studio, is seeking to expand its Teburu Games team in Providence, Rhode Island. Teburu is an innovative board gaming platform that melds the digital and physical worlds into a unique board gaming experience.

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented team member to assist in the management of Crowdfunding Campaigns, Events, and Customer Service in our new Providence, Rhode Island office. This part-time, contract position is ideal for candidates with an interest in boardgame development and a desire to learn more about the industry, with the opportunity to grow into a more specialized role.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth setup and further optimization of Teburu Crowdfunding campaigns on Gamefound.
  • Assist in the management of our Gamefound community; before, during, and following the conclusion of crowdfunding campaigns.
  • Build and post regular monthly updates on all active Gamefound projects.
  • Assist in Coordination, planning, and booking of services for US-based trade shows and events.
  • Organize and track travel and event expenditures.
  • Attendance at major trade shows and retail events to assist in product demonstration, sales, and coordination of demonstration staff.
  • Responsible for timely response to Customer Support inquiries through our online support forum. Topics may include General Tech Support, Replacement Parts, Troubleshooting, and Fulfillment Support.
  • Arrange shipment of all replacement part requests for the US and Canada
  • Manage internal US stock of Products and Spare Parts, shipping and receiving of stock, and other logistics and office administrative needs.
Position Requirements
  • Availability to work in person in the Providence, RI office to manage shipping and receiving of parts and stock.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Availability to travel to major US trade shows, such as Gen Con and GAMA.
Required Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience in a Customer Service Environment
  • Experience using Google Suite products.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in planning and organizing Events.
  • Experience in Marketing or Sales.
  • Knowledge or experience in the board gaming industry is a plus.
Education
  • Associates or Bachelors Degree

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$15.00 - $18.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate for a contract position. No benefits are available for this position at this time; however, additional hours may become available with increased workload. A future opportunity to transition to a full-time salary position may become available to appropriate candidates.
