The Pet Cancer Center of Providence (PCC) is a soon-to-launch, standalone specialty practice dedicated exclusively to veterinary medical oncology. Built around the belief that focused care creates a better experience for pets, families, and clinical teams, the practice will combine thoughtful treatment planning, compassionate communication, and personalized support throughout each patient’s cancer journey. We are dedicated to helping pets enjoy more quality time while giving their families clarity, confidence, and hope.

We’re looking for an experienced Client Care Coordinator to support our brand new practice.
The Client Care Coordinator is the first and last point of contact for our clients and is the face of our practice. You will work closely with our dedicated clinical staff and be a capable ambassador for the organization to the public, our clients, and to the professional community.

What Makes This Role Unique
This is a launch position as we open a new clinic in the heart of Providence! You will spend your first few weeks training, building rapport, and establishing a team workflow before opening a brand new specialty-only practice. This is a once-in-a-career chance to lead a founding team and you’ll gain unique experience as we expand our state-of-the-art care in a new city.
Our target start date for this role is November 11th, 2026.

- The range for this role is $20-$24/hr

What You’ll Do:
- Greet clients and patients, deliver best in class customer service, and ensure all client questions are answered in an informative and friendly manner
- Communicate and collaborate with colleagues regarding patient care and client questions
- Document communications and conversations
- Manage the appointment schedule
- Receive payments for services rendered and oversee daily financial reconciliation
- Perform intake and discharge duties
- Maintain common areas
What We Require:
- 2+ years of experience in a customer service or client facing role (Veterinary Preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort working around all types of dogs and cats
- Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
- Adaptability and focus in a busy environment
- A passion for animals
