Senior Accountant

Camino is partnering with a PE-backed, fast-growing manufacturer and distributor of specialist industrial products to find their first dedicated Finance Manager in the US. The US business is in an exciting growth phase.

This is a hands‑on, high-impact role for a finance professional who's a self‑starter, builds processes from the ground up, and navigates a complex multi‑state compliance environment. You'll manage the day‑to‑day finance function, with one direct report, and report into the Group Financial Director.

• Monitor and manage day‑to‑day financial queries & transactions
• Cash management
• Covering all purchase ledger functions, including supplier payments
• Assist with credit control and cashflow forecasting
• Suggest improvements & cost reduction ideas
• Assist in improving financial processes & support system enhancements
• Assist Group FD with audit queries, stock & asset management
• Support annual tax return filings and portal payments
• Compile and record bi‑weekly payroll

• Experience in a US‑based finance management or senior finance role
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and multi‑state tax compliance
• Someone who's compliance‑driven and detail‑oriented
• Comfortable owning a function
• Experience managing or mentoring others
• Familiarity with Sage X3 or similar ERP systems is a plus
• Background in manufacturing, distribution, or a product‑led business preferred

• Progression path into broader US finance leadership as the business scales

• Close working relationship with an experienced group finance team based in the UK
