• Greet clients warmly and assist with check‑in/check‑out procedures using salon software such as MINDBODY
• Support stylists with hair styling, hair extensions, eyelash extensions, nail care, and makeup application as needed
• Maintain salon sanitation standards, including cleaning tools, stations, and common areas
• Manage retail sales of hair products, skincare items, and accessories through effective upselling techniques and retail math principles
• Assist with store management tasks such as inventory organization and product display setup
• Handle front desk duties including appointment scheduling, phone inquiries, and client follow‑up
• Support mentoring new team members and contribute to a positive team environment
• Perform specialized services like hair threading or straight razor grooming under supervision as skill levels develop
• Educate clients on color theory, hair care routines, and retail product recommendations to enhance their experience

• Knowledge of hair styling techniques, including color theory and hair extensions application
• Familiarity with salon software systems such as MINDBODY for scheduling and client management
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
• Experience or interest in cosmetology or barbering is preferred
• Ability to perform sanitation protocols diligently to ensure a safe environment
• Competence in retail sales, upselling strategies, and retail math to maximize product sales
• Basic understanding of makeup application and nail care services is advantageous
• Excellent communication skills for mentoring team members and engaging clients
• Ability to work efficiently at front desk operations while maintaining professionalism
• Willingness to learn new skills such as eyelash extensions or advanced hair techniques
